We're a fast-growing AI company in London hiring a GTM Engineer: a technical builder who creates the systems the business runs on, starting with sales and marketing. This is engineering pointed at go-to-market, not pre-sales, so no demos and no integration docs. You're automating functions that currently run on manual grind. Start with revenue (lead gen and pipeline, so sales opens each day with prioritised, ready-to-act data), then extend the same playbook to marketing and beyond. You'll sit next to the people you're building for. Watch the real workflow, ship something rough in days, harden what earns its place. Claude and Claude Code are daily tools; you'll wire things together over MCP and APIs, writing code where code's the right call. What you'll build: The definitive picture of the market: who, who decides, what changed this week Automated sourcing, enrichment, deduplication and scoring, so sales works a prioritised list, not a spreadsheet Automated selling admin: briefs, CRM hygiene, follow-ups, proposals, reporting Inbound capture end to end, in minutes not days Reporting the Growth Lead and founders actually trust Automation for the next expensive manual process, whether that's onboarding, CS, finance ops, or hiring What you'll bring: Real developer chops: production code (Python, TypeScript or similar), comfortable with APIs and databases 2-5 years' experience, any background, as long as the skills are there A strong technical degree from a leading Russell Group university or equivalent LLMs in everything you do, plus something built beyond a prompt: agents, tool use, retrieval, an unattended workflow. Evidence, not claims A track record of shipping automation a business depended on Commercial instinct: you know a funnel, and can tell a metric moving from a metric mattering Comfortable in the weeds of data quality: enrichment, matching, deduplication High ownership, bias to shipping Bonus points: technical product/forward-deployed/solutions engineering, growth engineering or revenue ops, or ex-technical-founder background.
