As Senior Platform Engineer, you will own the internal developer platform, improve reliability and deployment speed, and mentor a small team of engineers. \n Key Responsibilities \n \n Design, build and maintain Kubernetes-based infrastructure on AWS \n Own CI/CD pipelines and drive adoption of GitOps practices \n Build self-service tooling that lets product teams ship without platform bottlenecks \n Improve observability, incident response and SLO tracking \n Lead infrastructure-as-code standards using Terraform \n Champion security and cost optimisation across the platform \n \n Essential Requirements \n \n 5+ years in platform, DevOps or SRE roles \n Strong hands-on Kubernetes and Docker experience \n Production experience with AWS \n Proficiency in Terraform or equivalent IaC \n Scripting ability in Python or Go \n Experience with CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or Jenkins) \n \n Desirable \n \n Experience with ArgoCD or Flux \n Prometheus, Grafana or Datadog \n Exposure to SOC 2 or ISO 27001 environments \n Previous team leadership or mentoring experience \n \n What's On Offer \n \n 28 days holiday plus bank holidays \n Pension with 6% employer contribution \n £1,500 annual learning budget \n Flexible working hours \n Modern tech stack with genuine time for engineering improvement \n \n \n JBRP1_UKTJ
