Our client is scaling its cloud infrastructure to support a fast-growing SaaS product used by a large base of enterprise customers. As Senior Platform Engineer, you will own the internal developer platform, improve reliability and deployment speed, and mentor a small team of engineers. Key Responsibilities Design, build and maintain Kubernetes-based infrastructure on AWS Own CI/CD pipelines and drive adoption of GitOps practices Build self-service tooling that lets product teams ship without platform bottlenecks Improve observability, incident response and SLO tracking Lead infrastructure-as-code standards using Terraform Champion security and cost optimisation across the platform Essential Requirements 5+ years in platform, DevOps or SRE roles Strong hands-on Kubernetes and Docker experience Production experience with AWS Proficiency in Terraform or equivalent IaC Scripting ability in Python or Go Experience with CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or Jenkins) Desirable Experience with ArgoCD or Flux Prometheus, Grafana or Datadog Exposure to SOC 2 or ISO 27001 environments Previous team leadership or mentoring experience What's On Offer 28 days holiday plus bank holidays Pension with 6% employer contribution £1,500 annual learning budget Flexible working hours Modern tech stack with genuine time for engineering improvement
