We're partnering with an ambitious and growing business looking to strengthen its digital marketing team with the addition of a Paid Media Specialist or Paid Media Manager. You'll be responsible for managing and optimising paid search campaigns, driving performance across multiple channels and using data-led insights to maximise ROI.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and optimise paid media campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising.
  • Develop, implement and refine Search, Shopping and Performance Max strategies.
  • Monitor campaign performance, analyse data and identify opportunities to improve results.
  • Manage budgets and ensure campaigns are delivered efficiently against agreed KPIs.
  • Conduct keyword research, search term analysis and competitor reviews.
  • Create and test ad copy to improve engagement and conversion rates.
  • Oversee Google Merchant Center activity, including feed diagnostics and optimisation.
  • Build meaningful reports and dashboards to communicate campaign performance and insights.
  • Work closely with wider marketing teams and stakeholders to align paid media activity with business objectives.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, platform developments and best practices.
Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience managing paid search campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising.
  • Strong understanding of Search, Shopping and Performance Max campaign management.
  • Experience working with Google Merchant Center, including feed management and optimisation.
  • Good knowledge of GA4, Google Tag Manager and conversion tracking.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, including reporting, formulas and data analysis.
  • Experience creating reports and dashboards using Looker Studio (Google Data Studio).
  • Comfortable using Google Ads Editor, bulk uploads and automation tools.
  • Experience with Google Ads Scripts or other forms of marketing automation would be advantageous.
  • Confident carrying out search query reviews, negative keyword management, ad testing, budget pacing and performance optimisation.
  • Familiarity with CRO and user behaviour tools such as Hotjar or Microsoft Clarity would be beneficial.
  • Google Ads certifications are desirable.
  • Ecommerce experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to present recommendations to stakeholders.
