We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to guide the implementation and overall commercial success of our products and services, addressing specific business, customer, experience, and market needs. This is a broad and strategic role that spans our consumer dashcam ecosystem, Automotive OEM partnerships, and our imagery collection platform Insight.
The successful candidate will lead product strategy from concept through to production release, with the ability to define platform-based, modular solutions that are future-proof and flexible enough to serve multiple service partners and customer configurations.
You will have strong business acumen, a technical background, and genuine customer passion, with a demonstrated track record of leading agile teams and an unrelenting focus on customer experience.
- Gather and prioritise requirements, set MVP scope, define acceptance criteria, and manage product scrums and squads.
- Cross-functional Leadership: Work closely with cross-functional teams across Engineering, Design, Sales, and Marketing to deliver high-quality, technology-enabled products on time and within budget.
- Champion customer-centric development by researching markets, analysing user feedback, and translating insights into differentiated product features.
- Performance & Governance: Establish and report on product KPIs, leveraging performance data for continuous improvement and informed roadmap decisions.
- Identify, develop, and manage strategic partnerships from prospecting and negotiation through to ongoing relationship management and effectiveness monitoring.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or business-related discipline.
- ~5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in technically complex software products within the geospatial or automotive fields.
- Deep knowledge of every aspect of the product development lifecycle (PDLC/PLM).
- Ability to create product development strategies and roadmaps.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Experience with agile and scrum practices in a consumer electronics or connected device environment.
- Experience in the delivery of consumer electronic projects (software and hardware), including dash cams.
- Managed development of connected features; created digital product propositions and defined specifications that met both business and user needs.
- Experience in application development based on Android and iOS.
- Experience in the automotive sector and/or OEM partnerships.
- Business transformation experience; Mobile apps for Android and iOS.
- Cloud computing, especially global AWS.
- Camera technology, including video frame rate, resolution, bit rate, compression, and container formats.
- AI technologies, including deep learning, machine learning, and computer vision (e.g. object detection).
- SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (SAFe, POPM).
- Certified Professional Scrum Master (PSM).
- Prince2 / PMP.
