Overview

As a Web Content Coordinator, you will be the driving force behind the daily evolution of Next’s global digital presence. You’ll take ownership of our CMS to publish and edit engaging content across high-traffic platforms like next.co.uk and nextdirect.com, ensuring our brand remains at the forefront of retail.

This is a highly collaborative role where you will manage business wide requests and liaise closely with our offshore partners in India and our internal QA teams to ensure every update is polished, functional and launched on schedule.

Beyond standard coordination, you will act as a technical innovator within the content team. You’ll be a key player in embracing new technologies – specifically AI – to automate workflows and enhance quality assurance. By utilising your technical skills to develop scripts and integrate APIs, you will transform routine bulk operations into streamlined processes. Whether you’re managing the fast-paced energy of a seasonal sale or implementing a long-term efficiency project, your work will be central to delivering a world class shopping experience.

About You

  • Strong communicator with a real team ethic and the ability to work under pressure
  • A genuine interest in fashion retail and ecommerce.
  • Experience or a strong interest in using AI tools for content management and process optimisation.
  • The ability to use or learn Python scripting to streamline work and automate tasks.
  • Adaptable to change and willing to support other team members when required.
  • Good at breaking down problems and finding relevant solutions
  • Available to work callout shifts every once in a while.
  • Excellent planning, attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Experience updating online content using a CMS preferably CoreMedia.
  • A good technical mind and general understanding of HTML, CSS & XML.
