We have an exciting opportunity in the Digital Marketing team at NEXT!

The digital marketing team at NEXT, is made up of circa 70 marketing professionals in 4 disciplines. The role available will be within the Total Platform team.
The Total Platform team is a dynamic and growing area of the business responsible for managing marketing strategies for our third-party clients. The team looks after paid search, social media, and affiliate partnerships. This trainee role will focus primarily on affiliate marketing, working alongside channel leads and executives to deliver outstanding results.
These teams are highly skilled, ambitious with lots of energy, they work fast but with great attention to detail. This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading online fashion retailers!
This role is based from our Manchester office on a hybrid basis with potential for visits to our Head Office in Leicestershire to collaborate with the wider team when required.
About the Role:
- Support the development of marketing strategy and its implementation across all client accounts.
- Develop and manage relationships with a variety of affiliate partners through program optimisation and recruitment.
- Conduct analysis of campaign performance, creating and delivering pre- and post-campaign reports to clients.
- Collaborate closely with the internal Total Search team, which covers search engines and affiliate marketing.
- Utilise strong multi-tasking and project management skills to handle multiple client accounts.
- Build key relationships by representing the team at external conferences and industry events.
About You:
- You will be a proactive self-starter who works well in a fast paced digital environment.
- You will be self-motivated & highly organised with the ability to adapt to a changing environment and stay calm under pressure.
- You are enthusiastic with a positive, can-do attitude and a strong desire to learn.
- You have excellent client-facing skills and the ability to build strong relationships.
- You are highly analytical with an interest in performance-based marketing; an interest in affiliate marketing specifically is a bonus.
- You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- You will be an intermediate to advanced level user of Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets who is highly numerate.
The recruitment process will involve a 1st stage and 2nd stage. The 1st stage will be a quick virtual call with our hiring team and the 2nd stage will be an in-person interview at our Head Office where you’re likely to do a presentation followed by interview-style questions.
You will be contacted by 25th July to let you know if you have progressed to the first stage assessments.
