About the Role:
Trainee Graphic Designer

- Working mainly in our Enderby campus with travel to our London office, working collaboratively within the womenswear teams.
The scheme
You will start your 12 – 18 month training programme on our Womenswear Next Sourcing team.
With support from your team, you will learn the skills required to progress within our Design team. Responsibility comes early and you will be looking after graphic design concepts and designs.
You will receive regular feedback from your team who will coach and develop you throughout the scheme, supporting you in reaching your goals.
Once you are ready to take the next step you will be promoted to Assistant Designer!
Day to day you will be…
- Creating graphic design work developing new ideas and trends.
- Use an excellent working knowledge of Adobe CS software packages, InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, learning new tools and updated versions where possible
- Encourage constructive in-person feedback and evaluation
- Working with all AOP prints, pantoning, colour matching and submitting speculative art work.

Your graphic design skills are sharp; you can confidently use Adobe suites and are comfortable working on Apple software. You have a high skill in photoshop and CAD, whilst also delivering detailed hand painting and drawing skills. You’re driven and decisive, always aiming to make a meaningful impact.

Your team
It\’s all about collaboration and great teamwork! You will be working alongside our Design Manager, along with the Senior Graphic and Print Designer. You will also be working closely with creative Buyers, Merchandisers and Technologists to influence what our NEXT product ranges look like.
