Job Description

About the Role:

At Next, we have an exciting opportunity for a Studio Scheduler to join our Photo Studio team, based at ‘BUZZ” our home interiors studio in Leighton Buzzard Studio. This role is vital to the smooth and efficient running of our studio operations, coordinating all aspects of scheduling across our Home shoots.

You will take ownership of a range of scheduling and coordination responsibilities, ensuring the on-time delivery of photography assets while supporting internal and external teams. If you thrive in a fast-paced, organised environment and are passionate about being organised and spreadsheets this could be your perfect next move.

Key Responsibilities

  • First and foremost, chase samples to ensure timely delivery to the studio in line with production deadlines.
  • Ensure assets are delivered online on time and in the correct order, maintaining alignment with the creative and commercial brief.
  • Tag assets into the appropriate editorial assets as and when required into Brand marketing folders within the DAM system.
  • Schedule shoots across categories in collaboration with Managers in Next Home and key stakeholders for Brands, ensuring production is aligned with wider business timelines.
  • Work closely with the Graphics Team on production timelines and scheduling for the Furniture and Sofa Guides.
  • Maintain and manage the master shoot schedule, coordinating with photography, styling, creative, and repro teams.
  • Monitor daily and weekly studio calendars to avoid conflicts and maximise efficiency.
  • Regularly update planning and asset trackers to reflect current project status and upcoming milestones.
  • Communicate with internal product teams and external Brand partners to align on asset needs, shoot timing, and delivery expectations.
  • Identify any roadblocks or delays in the schedule and proactively communicate changes to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide administrative and planning support to the Studio Planning Lead and team as required.
  • Flexibility to support shoots and planning at other studio locations including Head office, Premier Park, and Elmsall as needed.
  • Champion an organised, detail-oriented approach to planning, always looking for opportunities to improve scheduling workflows.

About You:

  • Proven experience in a similar scheduling, studio coordination, or production planning role.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail, you love a good tracker and know how to keep multiple plates spinning.
  • Experience working to tight timelines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills — confident in chasing samples or following up on missed deadlines while keeping relationships positive.
  • Comfortable using project planning tools like Asana, and systems like, DAM, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Forward-thinking and proactive — always planning ahead and solving problems before they arise. You love a spreadsheet!
  • Calm under pressure, adaptable to change, and able to juggle multiple shoots or campaigns at once.
  • A collaborative mindset — you’ll be working with everyone from stylists to planners to external brand partners.
