About the role:
Studio Floor Assistant in the Next Photography Studio, the right person will have a positive can-do attitude and will be helpful & willing to assist in all aspects of the Studio. Responsibilities include; transporting product/props to the set, providing assistance to the teams including set changes, set building and painting, maintaining cleanliness in the studios, looking after the in-house kit and visiting photographers, and sourcing and ordering props for shoots. You will also be required to support the studio in processes to ensure a successful end to end production - from studio set-ups, to digital workflow.

About the role:
Studio Floor Assistant in the Next Photography Studio, the right person will have a positive can-do attitude and will be helpful & willing to assist in all aspects of the Studio. Responsibilities include; transporting product/props to the set, providing assistance to the teams including set changes, set building and painting, maintaining cleanliness in the studios, looking after the in-house kit and visiting photographers, and sourcing and ordering props for shoots. You will also be required to support the studio in processes to ensure a successful end to end production - from studio set-ups, to digital workflow.
Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the preparation and smooth running of the studio set,
  • Picking and transporting products to set
  • Picking and sourcing props and transporting to the sets
  • Driving of the company car to collect items for shoots.
  • Providing assistance to the shoot teams during the day with kit, changing sets and general tasks
  • Be responsible for housekeeping and ensuring the Studio sets are safe, clean and tidy working environment.
  • Responsible for the safety of colleagues and yourself in the workplace.
  • To report or deal with any hazards, incidents and accidents.
  • Assist in Ad-hoc duties as set out by the Studio Managers. and front of house Coordinators
  • Ensure the physical studio space for each shoot has been prepared to a high standard
  • Help arrange lighting equipment, props and logistics ahead of each shoot.
  • Provide hospitality and client services
  • Support the preparation of production paperwork
About you:

  • Have some knowledge of the Next brand.

  • Be able to work well under pressure, have a flexible attitude and be responsive to change.
  • Have a friendly, helpful and professional manner at all times.
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with peers and senior management.
  • Have excellent attention to detail.
  • Have excellent organisational skills.
  • Mac proficient.
  • Have the ability to interpret data.
  • Knowledge of Capture One, Google Suite and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Have experience using Profoto lighting, Canon cameras.
  • Have some studio experience.
  • Some experience of set building and painting.
