We have x2 incredible opportunities to join our Marketing team based in London. Joining either our Love & Roses or Friends Like These team, you will lead the day-to-day execution of your brand and campaign activity, ensuring our storytelling, content and influencer strategies are aligned, dynamic, and distinctly on brand. With a strong social-first mindset, you’ll bring energy and creative vision to every touchpoint — from campaign planning to content production — helping to bring our brand to life in a fresh and engaging way.

Founded in 1998, Lipsy started as one brand with a big dream. Acquired by NEXT in 2008, the UK’s biggest fashion retailer, we’ve now grown into three dynamic London-based fashion brands, each with their own distinct style and story, known as NEXT Wholly Owned Brands.

Role Purpose
As Social Media Marketing Manager, you will lead the day-to-day execution of brand and campaign activity, ensuring our storytelling, content and influencer strategies are aligned, dynamic, and distinctly on brand. With a strong social-first mindset, you’ll bring energy and creative vision to every touchpoint — from campaign planning to content production — helping to bring our brand to life in a fresh and engaging way.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of integrated marketing campaigns across social, email, and influencer channels
- Manage and support two direct reports: the Marketing & Social Media Executive and Content Creator
- Support and optimise both paid and organic social media performance, understanding what drives engagement and results
- Partnering with PR to evolve the influencer & partnerships strategy, cultivating meaningful brand associations
- Act as a brand guardian, maintaining Lipsy\’s voice and visual identity across all marketing channels
- Brief and direct social shoots, from initial briefing through to on-set direction
- Collaborate closely with PR, ecommerce, creative, buying, and design teams to ensure brand consistency
- Bring product stories to life through engaging, audience-first social content
- Stay ahead of cultural and social trends, identifying relevant creators, moments, and content opportunities
- Report on campaign performance with a balance of creative insight and data analysis – use to make future recommendations for improvement
Role Requirements
- Experience in a similar marketing or brand role, ideally within fashion, beauty or retail sectors
- Strong social-first mindset with a passion for content, culture, and storytelling
- Proven ability to brief and direct content creation across TikTok and Instagram
- Experience in managing and mentoring junior team members
- Keen trend-spotter with a sharp eye for new influencers, platforms, and visual directions
- Excellent copywriting skills and a clear understanding of brand tone of voice
- Confident using performance insights to guide content and strategy decisions
- Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working at pace with cross-functional teams
