About the Role
Based in Alfred Place, London. Working Pattern: Typically 3 days in the office with 2 days at home. Core hours flexible between 8am to 6pm. Cath Kidston focuses on attention to detail, unique styling and using print and colour to bring joy. Design that evokes nostalgia yet practical for everyday life.
Your Role
- Design print collections across Womenswear Fashion, ensuring alignment with brand’s aesthetic and market needs.
- Produce a variety of print repeats, placements, and colourways tailored to specific markets; strong hand painting and illustration skills are crucial, along with proficiency in Adobe software.
- Deep understanding of the brand’s heritage and ethos; innovate and contemporise designs that resonate with both brand identity and customer preferences.
- Brief suppliers and nurture strong relationships; collaborate with the wider team to support the entire design process.

- Passion for the brand and its values, evident in designs.
- Designer-level experience within a similar brand.
- Creativity and a collaborative mindset.
- Print design expertise, comfortable creating vintage and contemporary prints.
