Shift: Week 1: Wednesday – Saturday 10:00-22:00; Week 2: Thursday – Saturday 10:00-22:00
Rate of pay: £12.67
We are looking for committed and keen people to join our Quality Team and be part of one of the UK’s leading retail brands.
About the role
- You will be responsible for accurately working on a variety of documentation and systems, ensuring a timely and smooth flow of goods through the department and back into stock.
- You will be responsible for calling work to our QC room and inducting stock back into the high bay that has passed through the PQC Department using our infeed and outfeed system.
- You will be required to lift furniture items, this will include regularly doing 2 person lifts.
- You will work with a variety of stock which could be sofas to flat packed furniture.
- You would be required to support Rework when needed. Rework refers to the process of revisiting and correcting tasks or products that were not completed correctly the first time, often due to defects, errors, or unmet quality standards. It involves fixing, modifying, or adjusting materials or components.
- The role involves a lot of pallet work: Preparing and stacking furniture on pallets, ensuring items are secure and stable.
- Accurate wrapping of pallets is also an element of the role, wrapping pallets using the correct techniques to maintain the safety of goods during transport and storage.

- Have experience within a similar role
- High level of attention to detail in all functions of the role
- Ability to work accurately at speed and under pressure
- Be able to lift furniture items, this includes support with 2 person lifts
