Your responsibilities may include:
- Picking customer orders
- Packing orders in a presentable way
- Hanging stock on rails
- Scanning boxes that come down a conveyor belt
- Using a safety knife to cut a hole in the box (big enough to fit your hand inside)
- Stacking the boxes on a trolley (which can hold up to 16 boxes)
- Moving the trolley around the picking aisles and putting the boxes in the empty locations
We’re looking for a dedicated individual who:
- Is comfortable with manual handling and lifting heavy boxes that weigh up to 25 kg
- Has the capacity to work quickly and think decisively
- Can adhere to strict health and safety guidelines
- Demonstrates excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Shows commitment to working efficiently to meet targets
- Is comfortable with moving around the warehouse or remaining in a stationary position for the duration of your shift
- Can adapt and be prepared to contribute to different areas and adjust to changing needs
- Has a good eye for detail and attention to detail
- Desires to learn new skills and apply them where required
