To be an effective Operations Manager, you will support the Store Manager and oversee all stock and operational processes for the stockroom/warehouse, security and offices. Your leadership will inspire the team to maximize sales, drive efficiencies and achieve performance targets.
Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager by providing leadership and inspiring the team to perform at their best.
- Create an environment where excellent service, accurate stock processes and performance targets are central.
- Ensure the store meets all legal and compliance requirements in the areas you are responsible for.
- Lead disciplinary and grievance procedures when necessary.
- Manage man‑hour control to keep store processes efficient.
- Adopt a hands‑on approach by working alongside the team on operational and commercial activities.
- Demonstrate resilience during periods of change and embrace feedback to drive results.
- Ensure security staff are utilized effectively and that all company security procedures are followed.
- Address training, development and recruitment needs to a high standard.
