We are looking for an experienced Fabric Technologist to work across multi-products for our Licensing team! Some of the brands you will be working with are; Ted Baker, Superdry, Laura Ashley Kids, Paul Smith, Clarks, smAll Saints, Little Bird and Castore.
Our Fabric Technology teams work hard to ensure the quality of our Licensing products are always of the highest standard. Working alongside the Designers, Buyers, Merchandisers and Garment Technologists.
Travelling to factories, sourcing fabric & yarns along with developing and elevating quality is key here at Next within the Licensing team. We are looking for someone with great knowledge & proven experience of yarn and fabric technology for this role. Innovation is what we strive for here at Next and this fantastic area offers up some great opportunities for this. Working with suppliers and driving fabric/yarn developments and setting and reviewing standards is a key part of the role. Working as an integral member of the product team,, you will help to guide any decisions in line with the legal requirements and within Next guidelines.
About You:
As a team player; you will have great people skills and love to work collaboratively but also using your own skill set. Using your extensive technical experience & exceptional eye for technical detail, you will be working on a great department . Utilising your qualifications & extensive experience within fabric technology; you will communicate effectively within a multi functional team. You’ll be able to demonstrate an excellent understanding of fabric including performance knowledge.
