Salary £20.69 per hour, plus night shift premium (c£47,500 per annum).

Comprehensive bonus scheme and overtime opportunities.

42 hour shift rotation (including days, nights, and some weekends).

DVP Warehouse – Dearne Valley – Rotherham.

Our Maintenance Engineers play a pivotal role in ensuring that the huge range of warehouse machinery and equipment are maintained and repaired as required to ensure the operation runs smoothly, implementing management instruction with regard to all aspects of the role and ensuring awareness of Health and Safety, working in a specialist field.

Responsibilities

  • Fault-finding and diagnosis on a range of PLC controlled equipment.
  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on a range of pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, and robots in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations and industry standard practices.
  • Analysis and resolution of electrical and mechanical faults and repairs.
  • Conducting regular inspections whilst assisting in the completion and review of risk assessments for the department.
  • ASI and Profibus systems.
  • Work at heights of up to 20m with appropriate training.
  • Excellent communication skills and PC literacy.

Qualifications

  • Level 3, Apprentice trained Electrical Maintenance Engineer with experience and knowledge of PLC controlled equipment, pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, robots, electrical and mechanical fault analysis.
  • Experience with ASI and Profibus systems.
  • Ability to work at heights and in shift rotation.
