About the Role
Based in central London - this is the perfect setting for creativity! Core hours flexible between 8am and 6pm.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced designer to join the Fashion Brands team at Next, where we design and manufacture the Children’swear collections for brands such as Paul Smith, Ted Baker, Little Bird, Superdry and smallSaints. From researching the latest trends and presenting concepts you’ll work hard to produce elevated designs that reflect the brands' DNA and handwriting.
This would be a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, self‑motivated designer who has experience working at pace with premium brands, across different supply bases and product categories.
About You
- Excellent team player with great attention to detail, who will work closely with the team and partner brand to create exciting and commercial girlswear dresses, co‑ord sets and occasionwear.
- Strong commercial awareness and thrives on working in a fast‑paced environment with a real passion for product.
- Girlswear and/or womenswear design background is essential.
- Experience working at pace with premium brands, across different supply bases and product categories.
- Ability to generate original prints and graphics is advantageous but not essential.
- Building successful team relationships, instilling confidence and trust in our partnerships.
The Team
You will be working with a like‑minded and creative team who have a real passion for product and a shared goal to push the brands forward, collaborating to innovate and bring your ideas and designs to life ensuring they align with the brands' handwriting, current market trends and our customers' needs.
