Hours: Monday to Thursday, 9.00am – 5.30pm, Friday 9:00am – 4.30pm.

About The Role

Our Merchandising team plays a vital role in bringing the Victoria’s Secret customer experience to life – ensuring the right products are available in the right place, at the right time, and in the right quantities. From planning and managing stock intake to monitoring performance and identifying opportunities, the team helps shape how our collections come to market across stores and online, and reviewing sales performance for department categories. As an AM with us, you’ll support the Merchandiser in the running of the department and deputise for them in their absence.

Role Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the smooth-running day to day of the Merchandising department - completing dept deadlines.
  • Forecasting sales and stock levels to achieve sales plans and margin/profit targets for the department with support from merchandiser.
  • Monitoring the department performance and identifying opportunities, as well as potential risk/loss.
  • Maximising profit by ensuring size ratios/returns rates are reflective of the customer needs and reviewed accordingly to the website.
  • Responsible for ensuring intake targets are achieved and ensuring launch products are delivered in a timely manner.
  • Developing a strong understanding of product performance across the various channels and understanding how to impact performance.
  • Contributing to department strategy demonstrating an ability to recognise innovative ideas and solutions, which have a commercial gain.
  • Running and interpreting any ad hoc analysis required and proposing actions as a result.
  • Developing your Merchandise Assistant through their development programme, by identifying and setting measurable objectives and developing a flexible management style as appropriate to their needs.
  • Managing the Merchandise Assistant’s day to day workload and supporting prioritisation of workload.
