About the Role

International Logistics Coordinator. Enderby, Leicester. Permanent, 36 hours per week, Monday - Friday.

Next Distribution fuels our expansive network and global platform. We are expanding our International team to support the growing needs of our customers and suppliers.

You will work closely with the International Logistics team, senior managers, the account management teams of Next’s suppliers, and other support departments. The role includes reporting, coordination and administration activities to maintain effective operation, with a focus on accurate and timely carrier and warehouse performance reporting and process improvement.

Key objectives include completing reports on carrier operations and warehouse performance, understanding operational processes, identifying strengths and weaknesses in processes and data, and making recommendations to improve efficiency or service levels. You will manage key carrier accounts by analyzing volumes, monitoring KPIs, and reviewing opportunities. You will develop and maintain process flows for UK and overseas operations by analyzing warehouse performance. Building strong working relationships with key warehouse contacts will be important.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with multiple teams and senior managers
  • Strong data analysis skills and ability to identify trends and report findings
  • Experience in a similar logistics role is an advantage
  • Solid understanding of Google Suite (especially Google Sheets) or Microsoft Excel
  • Exceptional organization and attention to detail
