Our eCommerce Tech team at Head Office is looking for experienced front‑end developers to join the team and help evolve a platform that serves over 8 million customers globally.
Role
Develop and manage the NEXT and Total Platform websites and mobile applications, build client‑side features in Bloomreach, enhance performance, and support internal users during busy periods.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, develop, publish, and support experimental client‑side features within Bloomreach.
- Intercept and override existing features or inject new ones using CSS, HTML, and JavaScript, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
- Improve development processes and apply best practices to increase efficiency.
- Provide development support to internal users and cover out‑of‑hours during peak trading periods.
Essential Criteria
- Strong experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, large‑scale environment.
- Experience with Google Analytics.
- Exposure to modern JavaScript frameworks such as React.
- Knowledge of UI performance and accessibility best practices.
- Desire to write readable, maintainable, modular, and extensible code.
- Experience developing responsive sites for multiple viewports.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and best practices.
Desirable Criteria
