We're looking for a Senior SEO Executive to join our UK eCommerce team on a 12 month FTC. Based from NEXT Head Office in Leicestershire!
The Role
As a Senior SEO Executive, you will be a driving force behind NEXT’s largest online channel, ensuring our products stand out in an ever-evolving digital landscape. Joining our high-performing UK eCommerce team in Leicestershire, you’ll lead optimisation efforts across traditional search engines and pioneering generative AI platforms (GEO). You’ll act as a strategic partner to our online trading teams and senior management, taking ownership of specific departments to boost their organic presence. Whether you’re deep-diving into data or collaborating with wider marketing squads, you’ll be supported by a team of experts and given the tools to stay at the forefront of search innovation.
What You’ll Take On
- Drive Strategy: Activate the NEXT SEO strategy to maximise organic visibility and high-quality traffic across our sites.
- Identify Opportunities: Conduct proactive keyword research and gap analysis to stay ahead of market trends.
- Innovate: Support GEO and Large Language Model (LLM) optimisation activities to prepare for the future of search.
- Collaborate & Champion: Work closely with internal teams and external agencies, acting as an SEO ambassador to ensure best practices are integrated across the business.
- Technical Excellence: Assist with technical projects, from raising and fixing bugs to implementing large-scale site enhancements.
- Report & Refine: Generate weekly and monthly reports on key KPIs, using insights to manage our backlink profile and ethical link-building efforts.
- Educate: Support the development of wider NEXT teams by sharing knowledge on SEO and GEO best practices.
