We are looking for a Senior Digital Marketing Executive to join our eCommerce Marketing team at Next's Head Office in Leicestershire. Next is one of the UK’s largest fashion retailers, a FTSE‑100 listed company that sells its own products and thousands of world‑famous brands both in‑store and online across the UK and internationally.
About the Role
As a Senior Digital Marketing Executive you will focus on driving international growth through two high‑impact areas: Third‑Party Marketplaces (Amazon, Zalando, La Redoute) and Paid Search (Google, Bing, and local international networks). Reporting to channel leads, you will be a specialist driving customer acquisition and maximising incremental revenue. Whether you optimise Sponsored Product Ads on a marketplace or manage multi‑language Paid Search campaigns, your goal is to align partner strategies with our wider international objectives.
Responsibilities
- Strategy & Execution: Plan and execute high‑performance campaigns across Third‑Party platforms and search networks to increase visibility, rankings, and traffic.
- Partnership & Agency Management: Build long‑term relationships with strategic partners (Amazon, Zalando, Google) and manage media agency outputs to ensure peak performance.
- Territory Expansion: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to lead rapid rollouts across multiple international markets and domains.
- Optimisation: Monitor and optimise all activity—including Sponsored Product Ads and SA360‑led search activity—to ensure strong ROI and profitable growth.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Trading and Commercial teams to align marketing activity with product insights and audience resonance.
- Reporting & Insights: Deliver comprehensive multi‑region reporting, presenting actionable insights and performance findings to the wider business.
- Innovation: Stay ahead of digital retail trends and explore new, innovative opportunities within the digital media landscape.
About You
- Experience: Proven years in digital performance marketing, with at least 3 years specialising in Marketplaces, Paid Search or Partnership Marketing.
- Analytical Excellence: Highly numerate and proficient in Excel, capable of translating complex data into actionable growth strategies.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of ad technology and integrations. Familiarity with SA360 or marketplace‑specific ad tech is a significant advantage.
- International Mindset: Experience managing multi‑language campaigns or partnerships outside the UK highly desirable.
- Problem Solver: A logical thinker who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys solving complex channel challenges.
- Strategic & Collaborative: A team player who understands how different platforms contribute to a holistic international marketing mix.
