The eCommerce team is recruiting an eCommerce Product Lead to be at the forefront of our UK growth! Based at Head Office in Leicestershire, offering a competitive salary alongside great benefits! Our UK Trading team fuels growth by optimising online product sales on Next.co.uk across Womenswear, Menswear, Children’swear and Home. They drive exciting product launches and strategic promotions to maximise sales and brand visibility.

About the Role

As an eCommerce Product Lead on Womenswear Non-Clothing, you will be the driving force behind product optimisation for your division, turning insights into high converting digital experiences. You’ll act as a strategic partner to Trading and Product owners, taking the lead on innovative projects that elevate our PDP and shopping bag performance. As the go‑to expert for your team, you’ll harness the power of product data and collaborate with cross‑functional experts – from Data to Copy – to prioritise high impact wins. If you are a proactive problem solver ready to own key metrics and shape the future of our shopping journey, this is your chance to make a tangible impact.

  • Drive Division‑Leading Strategy: Act as the strategic heartbeat of your category, spearheading high‑impact projects, deputising for leadership and championing innovation across the wider Product team.
  • Master the Digital Storefront: Own the end‑to‑end performance of the PDP and shopping bag, using your expertise to translate product trends into a world class online presence that wows senior management.
  • Turn Data into Action: Deep‑dive into KPIs, including conversion, ATB and returns to uncover hidden trends and launch bold initiatives that optimise the user journey and boost profitability.
  • Agile Trading & Collaboration: Partner with cross‑functional experts to deliver high energy weekly trade updates, pivoting in real‑time to capitalise on shifting customer behaviours and market opportunities.
  • Lead Through Innovation: Relentlessly benchmark against competitors to pilot new ideas and tests, ensuring our customer experience remains cutting edge and best in class.
  • Guardian of Site Excellence: Proactively monitor site health to resolve issues at pace, while continuously refining processes to drive team efficiency and operational growth.

You’ll be doing all this from our Leicestershire Head Office. Our offices are inspiring, yes. But we understand that life happens. So, we’re big on making sure your work works for you which is why we offer flexible working – minimum 3 days in the office per week and 2 from home.

  • Experience of working within an eCommerce Trading role.
  • Good understanding of analytics, user behaviour and eCommerce trends.
  • Experience in working collaboratively and being a good team player.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and implement changes.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Positive attitude towards learning and building knowledge.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
