The role involves creating systems such as websites and mobile apps. We are looking for a Developer to join our team.
Our eCommerce websites and apps have grown steadily over the past 10 years to become one of the largest online retail platforms in the UK, selling to 70 international markets and offering a personalised shopping experience to our 6 million active customers.

We have rewritten our customer-facing iOS apps using SwiftUI, bringing a fresh, accessible and seamless experience to our users. With our eCommerce apps driving around 50% of our online trade, this is a fantastic project to be part of.
What you’ll take on:
- Work with Architectural Patterns: Use established architectural foundations to build performant and scalable iOS features.
- Design and Implement Features: Build components for our white‑label mobile apps that offer rich functionality while ensuring an inclusive and accessible experience for all users.
- Build Adaptive User Interfaces: Develop intuitive Phone and Tablet interfaces using SwiftUI that scale perfectly across various screen sizes.
- Collaborate across the Team: Work closely with Product Owners, UX designers and fellow developers to understand requirements and deliver high-quality code.
- Contribute to Technical Excellence: Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to the team’s collective knowledge of the Apple ecosystem.
- Understand the Full Stack: Develop a sound understanding of how our apps interact with backend services, API integrations and deep‑linking variations.
- Support Continuous Delivery: Use Azure build pipelines to ensure smooth and reliable deployments.
What you’ll bring:
- Technical Proficiency: Demonstrable experience in building robust iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI (familiarity with Swift 6, iOS 18 and above).
- Analytical & Problem Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot, optimise application performance and resolve technical issues effectively.
- Automation: Experience implementing Unit Testing and UI Tests using Swift Testing & XCUITest frameworks to ensure application reliability.
- Agile Methodologies: Proven track record in agile development methodologies, including experience with Scrum.
- CI/CD: Experience using continuous integration and delivery tools, such as Azure DevOps.
- RESTful APIs: Hands‑on experience with RESTful API integration.
Nice to have:
- Experience with complex deep‑linking.
- Integrating webview accessibility.
- Apps handling multiple languages.
