About the Fabric Technology Team
Our Fabric Technology teams work hard to ensure the quality of our Next product is always of the highest standard. Working alongside the Designers, Buyers, Merchandisers, and Garment Technologists, this role is key to the whole product critical path from start to finish.
What You'll Take On
- Support the fabric technology process from design concept to delivery.
- Develop and elevate fabric quality within the Women’swear team.
- Review fabric developments, set and review standards, and support buying and design decisions in line with Next quality expectations and legal requirements.
What You'll Bring
- A team player with strong people skills to communicate effectively within a multi‑functional team.
- Technical experience and an exceptional eye for detail across a wide range of women’s products, including jersey and heavyweight.
- Excellent understanding of fabric sourcing, manufacturing, construction, and performance.
- Drive and initiative to generate and implement new ideas in your department.
