Working in our dynamic and creative Branch Merchandising Team, you’ll support branch‑planning activities including recording local branch information and maintaining reports that determine what products each store stocks. You’ll also help to plan the rates of sale and distribution for particular items, and react to sales information to maximise sales potential for all stores.
Responsibilities
- Interpret store sales data, plan stock and optimise inventory.
- Manage store grading to ensure stock is in the right place.
- Ensure new and refitted stores have the stock packages needed for launch.
- Produce a range of regular stock and merchandising reports.
- Liaise with warehousing to ensure a smooth flow of stock into stores during peak sales periods.
- Co‑ordinate and collate re‑labelling requirements during season changes and ahead of new season launches.
- Maintain a detailed record of price discrepancies and share key price amendments with relevant teams.
Qualifications
- Collaborative problem‑solver with an outstanding eye for detail and impressive retail experience.
- Drive and decisiveness in evaluating commercial situations to ensure positive outcomes for stores.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Able to quickly identify discrepancies and confidently propose the most appropriate action.
- Strong planning and organisational skills with a positive and flexible approach.
