About the Role

Working pattern: 5 days a week, core hours 8 am – 6 pm.

Job Description

  • Lead the growing Girlswear design department on a fixed‑term contract.
  • Inspire a team of designers and assistants, guiding trend direction, design initiatives and growth for a multi‑product category.
  • Recruit and develop the Girlswear Design team.
  • Oversee the ongoing development of the team, providing strategic direction and day‑to‑day support.
  • Identify and communicate new, growing and declining market trends with the wider design team.
  • Communicate the company vision, set clear goals and keep the team highly motivated.
  • Maintain strong relationships with the immediate team and collaborate with other key stakeholders across the Children’swear category.
  • Travel for global trade shows, inspirational trips and factory visits.
