The eCommerce team are on the lookout for an eCommerce Trading Manager to join and be at the forefront of our UK growth, focusing on launching and trading a new website for our own brand – “The Set”. Based at Head Office in Leicestershire, offering a competitive salary alongside great benefits!

The UK Trading team fuels UK growth by optimising online product sales on Next.co.uk across Womenswear, Menswear, Childrenswear and Home. They drive exciting product launches and strategic promotions to maximise sales and brand visibility.
As the Trading Manager on our Brands team, you will drive and own the success for our own brand, “The Set,” through the launch and ongoing optimisation of its new website. You will leverage insights to optimise the entire eCommerce funnel, from search and product pages to purchase and marketing strategies, working closely with and influencing key stakeholders across the business. Most importantly, you won’t be afraid to challenge the status quo and put forward new and innovative ways to grow the businesses.
About you:

  • Work alongside the Business Manager to set and drive the strategy for the Set, managing any team members to achieve growth and to manage the launch plan for the website.
  • Key person to account for trading the Set website, therefore, an expert in product and key trends for the brand and translating this into the customer journey to drive sales.
  • Use data-driven decisions to trade your products across marketing, search & navigation, and product pages. Looking at key performance metrics, user behaviour, and customer insights to identify opportunities for growth and improvements in the sales funnel.
  • Provide and present weekly sales performance and in-week insights to maximise sales potential to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Representing the Set within the eCommerce team, putting the website forward for any UX innovation for any ways to grow and develop the website.
  • Suggesting and implementing testing ideas and other data-driven approaches to refine and optimise the overall customer journey.
  • Deliver regular performance updates back to the business, through monthly roadmap meetings.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders throughout the business (mainly Product, Marketing, Data & Content) to ensure we are delivering the appropriate story-telling for brands on Seasons, as well as, for Seasons as a brand on Next and externally.
  • To plan and execute the E2E marketing plan for all touch-points of The Set aligning with customer demand.
