About the role
At Next we have a great opportunity for a Domestic Assistant to join our busy Facilities department. You will help maintain cleanliness and orderliness, ensuring a comfortable and hygienic environment for our employees and visitors.
Main Tasks
- Ensure all areas are clean and kept to a high standard.
- Demonstrate safe use of cleaning materials and chemicals abiding to COSHH.
- Vacuuming, emptying bins, cleaning surfaces, windows and washrooms, and other cleaning duties as required.
- Clean and sanitise designated areas, including offices, meeting rooms, common areas, and toilets, according to standards and schedules.
- Replenish supplies such as soap, toilet paper, paper towels, and other amenities.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages or malfunctions.
- Assist with setup and cleanup for events, meetings, and conferences.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and machinery, ensuring proper usage and safety protocols.
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to appropriate personnel.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with facilities team to ensure efficient operations and a positive working environment.
