Digital Media Manager (Advertising Technology) – 12 Month FTC. Based at NEXT Head Office in Enderby, Leicester with a competitive salary range of £64,000 - £86,000.
Join NEXT’s Digital Marketing team to lead the development and optimisation of our Media Technology Suite, enhance reporting, build tagging infrastructure, and improve cross-platform signals across Web and App. Identify how technology and AI can eliminate inefficiencies and elevate media effectiveness, then project manage the design, development and delivery of those solutions.
Responsibilities
- Identify areas of inefficiency across internal and agency teams.
- Collaborate with internal teams across planning, channel specialists, media solutions, technology & AI to understand potential impact of automation and ensure smooth technology adoption and integration.
- Create and own a solutions roadmap with clear prioritisation of opportunities by impact and ease of implementation.
- Project manage the development and implementation of technology solutions to streamline media operations.
- Monitor emerging ad tech trends and automation tools to stay ahead of the curve.
- Serve as the main point of contact for internal stakeholders on technology-related project execution.
- Review end-to-end work streams including briefing and creative processes to improve agility.
- Review technology in the market that supports efficient multi-market advertising activations.
About You
- Experience in ad tech or marketing technology (martech).
- Strong project management skills with experience leading technology implementations.
- Good knowledge of ad tech and media platforms (e.g., Google, Meta).
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills with a track record of working with diverse teams to achieve change.
- Comfortable working with cross-functional teams including marketing, tech and data.
- Proactive mindset to lead change, introduce new tech capabilities and improve processes.
- Understanding of how AI and automation can improve media effectiveness and operational efficiency.
