The role involves managing security technologies such as CCTV, Intruder, and fire alarm systems, supporting the business through monitoring platforms, and liaising with external suppliers, stores, and off-site offices to ensure a secure environment. To be the central point of contact supporting Retail facilities and Health & Safety teams out of hours, triaging store issues to ensure prompt resolution, whether maintenance or safety-related, thereby maintaining operational efficiency. Salaries start from £28,251. Standard hours are 42 hours per week, Monday to Sunday, on shift work. Location: Radar Road. Key Responsibilities Monitor intruder, fire, and panic alarm systems daily, addressing issues and faults. Coordinate with store staff, contractors, and emergency services as needed. Arrange out-of-hours emergency contractor attendance. Support Keyholding Company operatives, ensuring compliance with KPIs/SLA. Ensure safety of staff and visitors, recommending physical security measures. Provide 24/7 security coverage as part of the team. Maintain records and conduct audits on security systems. Perform weekly tests and compile reports. Report equipment faults and support security investigations into breaches and fraud. Assist with external event security as required. Communication Communicate effectively at all levels, sharing vital information clearly. Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, especially in resolving complex issues. Essential Criteria Understanding of monitoring technology, CCTV, intruder, and fire systems. Proficiency with alarm/CCTV software. Highly organized with multitasking ability. Excellent report-writing, analytical, and time management skills. Competent in Microsoft Office and Google applications. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Knowledge of fire alarm, intruder alarm, and CCTV requirements. Ability to evaluate information and prioritize activities. Resourceful, creative, and proactive in supporting security initiatives.
