This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and experienced Assistant Swim and Beach Designer to join our fast-paced Womenswear Non-Clothing team. Reporting into the Designer within the team, you will be creating trend-led designs, with inspiration drawn from travel and research. From pushing creative boundaries, to being the first to research trends you will live and breathe design. Working with multiple fabrications to produce elevated designs that resonate with our diverse customer profiles. You will work closely with Buyers, Merchandisers, and Product Technologists, balancing your keen eye for design with commercial awareness. A key part of your day-to-day will involve researching the latest trends and communicating your findings to the Designer, your team and senior stakeholders. You\’ll also brief suppliers, nurture key relationships, and support the entire design process, from initial range planning to final product selection. To succeed in this role, you will have a true interest in the product area and be passionate about pushing the product design creatively with a commercial view.
About You
We\’re looking for a creative and approachable Assistant Designer who can support the design direction for our Women\’s Swim and Beach. You should have a clear presentation style and a passion for this area of fashion.
You\’ll bring:
- Expertise in the Adobe Creative Suite
- Exceptional taste and an understanding of the technical aspects of nightwear design
- A keen eye on the market, with knowledge of key trends and brands within the area
The Team
You will be joining an amazing team whose enthusiasm for design and elevation being the main focus. A wealth of experience across multi-fabrications and innovative progression is one of the many plus points of joining this team. You will be situated within our amazing Design Studio, overlooking the pond in the central part of our Head Office Campus.
