Role Purpose
The Senior Stylist is responsible for overseeing and executing all seasonal styling needs and projects across the brand, including editorials and select campaigns. This role supports the shoot direction by elevating standards and ensuring absolute styling consistency from high-level campaign imagery to E-com studio production. The Senior Stylist is pivotal in developing the essence of our brands by creating and styling outfits across model, creative still life, and flat shoots that are precisely relevant to the demographic, season, and end use.
Role Responsibilities
- Creative Styling & Brand DNA
- Become fully immersed in the brand identity, acting as an expert on its specific aesthetic and personality.
- Translate an in-depth understanding of the brand’s customer into styling choices that align with the overarching vision.
- Create inspiring, on-trend outfits for all shoots that elevate the product while remaining commercial and on-brand.
- Continuously evaluate product representation with a keen eye for detail, proportion, and fit.
- Support the development and maintenance of 10–12 brand-specific Styling Profiles, ensuring inspirational and brand-appropriate wardrobes are always up to date.
- Plan and execute styling for E-com, Campaign, and Social shoots, ensuring the brand’s unique personality is reflected in every frame.
- Produce comprehensive style outs for shoots and ensure styling decks are updated and submitted for stakeholder sign-off.
- Attend vision meetings to prepare for upcoming seasons and contribute to the growth and success of shoots through innovative styling.
- Work flexibly across the studio, Head Office, and on location, which may include international travel.
- Collaborate closely with Creative, Buying, and Design teams to align styling with product strategies and attend sign-off meetings.
- Support the in-house styling team by coaching and offering guidance to both established and junior members.
- Actively contribute to monthly shoot feedback meetings to share key learnings and improve future output.
- Build and maintain close, productive relationships with all studio team members.
- Strong experience leading styling on set rather than assisting.
- A powerful visual sense for current trends and sophisticated styling.
- Creative flair and a genuine passion for visual composition and meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate across departments.
- Exceptional prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under pressure.
- A strong team-oriented mindset focused on building excellent internal relationships.
