Where required, you will also undertake direct support shifts, including lone working, ensuring continuity of care and support for the individuals we work with.

You will play a key role in fostering a positive team culture, promoting reflective practice, and ensuring that the people we support are empowered to achieve independence, emotional wellbeing, and positive outcomes.

The position is offered on a rota basis, covering days, evenings, weekends, bank holidays, on-call responsibilities where required, and potential sleep-in duties as part of a 24/7 service.

  • Support with rota management, shift coordination, and service cover arrangements
  • Ensure safeguarding concerns, incidents, accidents, and complaints are appropriately managed and reported
  • Monitor and develop support plans, risk assessments, and behaviour support strategies to ensure they remain effective and up to date
  • Develop positive professional relationships with external agencies, families, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders
  • Promote a positive culture of accountability, teamwork, reflective practice, and continuous improvement
  • Assist with audits, quality assurance activities, and preparation for regulatory inspections
  • Support individuals to access education, employment, training, healthcare, and community-based opportunities
