The Role

We are looking for an experienced

Oracle Cloud HCM / Payroll Functional Lead to join a major Oracle Cloud programme in Switzerland.

The successful candidate will take functional ownership across

Oracle Cloud HCM and Payroll , working closely with business stakeholders, project teams and technical resources to deliver and support Oracle Cloud solutions.

This is a senior functional role requiring strong hands‑on Oracle Cloud experience, excellent stakeholder management and the ability to lead HCM/Payroll workstreams from requirements through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take functional lead responsibility for

Oracle Cloud HCM and Payroll .

  • Work with HR and Payroll stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into Oracle Cloud solutions.
  • Lead workshops, requirements gathering and process design.
  • Provide functional expertise across Oracle HCM Cloud and Payroll.
  • Own functional solution design and ensure solutions align with business requirements and Oracle best practice.
  • Lead configuration and functional delivery activities.
  • Work closely with technical teams on integrations, reporting and data migration.
  • Support testing activities including SIT, UAT and defect resolution.
  • Manage functional issues, risks and dependencies across the HCM/Payroll workstream.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to other functional consultants.
  • Support data migration, cutover and go-live activities.
  • Produce functional documentation, process flows and specifications.
  • Work closely with project management and business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
  • Support post-go-live stabilisation and ongoing improvements.
  • Required Experience
  • Strong experience working with

Oracle Cloud HCM / Oracle Fusion HCM .

  • Strong hands‑on experience with

Oracle Cloud Payroll .

  • Previous experience as an

Oracle HCM Functional Lead, Payroll Lead, HCM Lead or Senior Oracle HCM Consultant .

  • Strong understanding of end‑to‑end HR and Payroll business processes.
  • Experience leading HCM/Payroll workstreams on Oracle Cloud implementations or transformation programmes.
  • Strong experience in requirements gathering, solution design and functional configuration.
  • Experience working through the full project lifecycle from design through to go‑live.
  • Strong testing, UAT and defect management experience.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of the HCM/Payroll workstream.

• Experience across additional Oracle Cloud HCM modules such as

  • Core HR
  • Absence Management
  • Time & Labor
  • Compensation
  • Talent
  • Experience with Oracle Payroll integrations and third‑party payroll systems.
  • Experience with Oracle HCM data migration.
  • Experience supporting cutover and go‑live.
  • Experience with Oracle HCM reporting and analytics.
  • Previous experience working on large‑scale Oracle Cloud transformation programmes.
  • Experience working in Switzerland or within a European enterprise environment.
  • German and/or French language skills would be advantageous.
  • The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be a senior Oracle Cloud HCM professional with strong Payroll expertise who can take ownership of a functional workstream and operate confidently with both business and technical stakeholders.

You should be comfortable leading workshops, challenging existing processes, designing Oracle Cloud solutions and driving the functional team through implementation and go‑live.

This is a hands‑on

Functional Lead position, so candidates should have substantial practical Oracle Cloud HCM/Payroll experience rather than purely project management or programme‑level experience.
