We are partnered with a global brand that is searching for a Windows System Administrator. They specialize in building bespoke IT solutions for clients across multiple industries. Since its establishment, they have rapidly grown to become a household name within the industry and looking forward, aiming to solidify its position with its partners. The search for a System Administrator is due to the growth of a team operating on a project with a key partner. This team is made up of DevOps, Automation and Software Engineers and to further develop the team they are looking for a specialist Windows System Administrator to supplement and complement the project.

You come with experience in Windows Server environments and Windows based infrastructure, working in projects and having collaborated with Cloud and Software Engineers.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Oversee, optimise and maintain Windows Server environments
  • Identify issues early and provide efficient solutions
  • Ensure system updates, patches and backups are performed
  • Closely collaborate with development teams to ensure best practice is followed
  • Ensure compliance with security policies
  • Support project requirements and deliverables with your colleagues

Your Skills:

  • Completed degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
  • Strong experience as a Windows System Administrator
  • Expertise in Windows operating systems, Active Directory
  • Accomplished team player, providing solutions swiftly across projects
  • Experience in working on projects within Financial Services is an advantage

Due to the growth in the team/project, this role is considered high-priority. You will be a key influencer within the project, and your experience within Windows System Admin will be the necessary addition to achieve long term success. You can expect a transparent and efficient process where you will speak to key and senior stakeholders over two stages.
