We are seeking an experienced Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Specialist to lead the configuration and implementation of D365 Finance for an international organisation operating in the medical devices and healthcare manufacturing sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the configuration and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance for UK operations within a regulated healthcare manufacturing environment.
- Ensure full compliance with UK fiscal and statutory requirements, including VAT, HMRC reporting, and local accounting standards.
- Work onsite in Plymouth to collaborate with finance, operations, and supply chain stakeholders.
- Lead and support to Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O, including data validation and reconciliation.
- Provide functional leadership, best‑practice guidance, and hands‑on system configuration.
- Support testing (UAT), end‑user training, and go‑live activities.
- Identify risks and issues, proposing pragmatic solutions aligned with business needs.
- Act as the UK finance functional SME throughout the implementation.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years’ experience as a D365 Functional Finance Consultant.
- Experience implementing and configuring D365 Finance within the UK.
- Strong understanding of UK fiscal legislation and statutory accounting requirements.
- Experience delivering D365FO solutions in manufacturing, medical devices, life sciences, or regulated industries.
- Experience working onsite and collaborating with business stakeholders.
- Strong functional expertise across GL, AR, and Fixed Assets.
- Experience migrating from Sage to Dynamics 365FO is preferred.
