- Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of SAP transformation programmes, ranging from greenfield implementations and S/4HANA migrations to global template rollouts and business transformation initiatives.
You will be responsible for managing project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and stakeholder engagement while ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard.
This role requires a strong understanding of SAP delivery methodologies and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams across business and technical functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end SAP implementation and transformation projects.
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, governance structures, and reporting.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including SAP functional consultants, technical teams, third-party vendors, and business stakeholders.
- Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Facilitate steering committee meetings and provide regular project status updates to senior leadership.
- Ensure projects are delivered in line with agreed quality standards, budgets, and timescales.
- Support change management, user adoption, testing, training, and cutover activities.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and build strong relationships across the business.
- Ensure adherence to SAP implementation methodologies such as SAP Activate, Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models.
- Drive continuous improvement and share lessons learned throughout the project lifecycle.
- Required Experience
- Proven experience delivering multiple SAP implementation or transformation projects.
- Strong background in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments.
- Experience managing projects across one or more SAP functional areas, including Finance (FI/CO), Supply Chain (MM, SD, PP), Procurement, EWM, WM, PM, QM, HR, or Success Factors.
- Demonstrated experience managing project budgets, timelines, and third-party vendors.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging senior business leaders and executive sponsors.
- Strong knowledge of project governance, RAID management, and reporting.
- Experience working within Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies.
