Ref: #75477Location: United Kingdom / IrelandEmployment Type: Permanent, Full-TimeSalary: 60,000 – 70,000 per annum (flexibility up to 77,000 for exceptional candidates)Working Model: Remote / HybridStart Date: ASAPThe OpportunityAn established international HR technology and payroll consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior SAP HCM Payroll Consultant with expertise in UK and Ireland payroll and SAP Employee Central Payroll (ECP).This position offers the opportunity to work on complex SAP Payroll implementation and transformation projects for external clients, taking responsibility for solution configuration, requirements gathering and technical delivery.The successful candidate will work closely with Solution Architects, project teams and client stakeholders to design, implement and optimise SAP HCM Payroll and ECP solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyse client requirements and translate business needs into effective SAP Payroll solutions.Configure and implement SAP HCM Payroll and Employee Central Payroll (ECP).Work alongside Solution Architects to design integrated payroll solutions.Lead client workshops, requirements-gathering sessions and solution discussions.Configure payroll schemas, personnel calculation rules (PCRs), wage types and payroll processes.Support payroll cutover planning, data migration and implementation activities.Collaborate with integration teams to ensure connectivity between payroll and wider HR applications.Prepare configuration documentation, test scripts and implementation deliverables.Provide technical guidance and support to junior consultants and wider project teams.Manage deliverables across multiple client engagements.Support quality assurance, project handovers and post-implementation activities.Experience & Skills RequiredMinimum 5 years of hands-on SAP HCM Payroll consulting experience, ideally gained within an SAP consultancy or payroll services organisation.Proven experience delivering SAP Payroll implementations for external clients.Strong experience with SAP Employee Central Payroll (ECP), including implementation and configuration.Excellent knowledge of UK payroll legislation, statutory requirements and payroll processes.Experience with Irish payroll would be advantageous.Advanced configuration skills covering payroll schemas, PCRs, wage types and payroll processing.Experience supporting payroll migrations, cutovers and integrations.Ability to lead workshops and engage directly with client stakeholders.Experience managing multiple projects or client assignments simultaneously.Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.Excellent communication skills and professional fluency in English.What's on OfferCompetitive salary of 60,000–70,000, with flexibility for exceptional expertise.Permanent opportunity within an established international consultancy.Remote / hybrid working arrangements.Exposure to complex SAP HCM Payroll and Employee Central Payroll projects.Opportunity to work with international clients and experienced SAP specialists.Involvement in end-to-end implementations, technical solution design and payroll transformation programmes.EligibilityApplicants must already have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom or Ireland.
