The Test Manager will be responsible for defining and executing the overall testing strategy for a complex ERP programme, ensuring all solution components — from processes to integrations — are thoroughly tested and validated before deployment. The role will cover planning, coordination, execution oversight, defect management, reporting, and alignment across multiple workstreams and business teams.

Key responsibilities:
  • Develop and own the programme-wide test strategy, approach and governance.
  • Define test phases including UT, SIT, UAT, regression, performance testing and cutover validation.
  • Prepare the master test plan, including scope, timelines, environments, entry / exit criteria, resources and tools.
  • Coordinate testing activities across the programme.
  • Oversee SIT, UAT and regression test execution, ensuring progress against plan.
  • Manage test data requirements, test environments and preconditions for each phase.
  • Review and approve test scripts, scenarios and acceptance criteria.
  • Establish and manage defect triage, prioritisation and resolution.
  • Maintain test-related RAID items and elevate critical defects / risks to programme leadership.
  • Act as the central point of contact for all test-related matters.
  • Provide regular test status reporting, dashboards and quality metrics.
  • Support go-live readiness, cutover validation and hypercare stabilisation.
