About The Role

We are looking for a SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning Lead to lead Performance, Budgeting and Forecasting. You will work with one of our public sector clients. Reporting to the Finance Delivery Lead, you will be accountable for solution ownership, guiding the team on SAP best practices, design choices and ensuring the solution is coherent, integrated and aligned to deliver the required workstream outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead SAC planning, budgeting and forecasting design, build, test and deployment activities
  • Own workstream plan, status reporting, RAID and deliverables
  • Coordinate with finance leads, analytics, data and testing teams on dependencies
  • Support workshops, requirement shaping, solution quality and stakeholder engagement
  • Ensure delivered planning capability aligns to business needs and programme standards
  • Own the solution, ensuring it is coherent, fit for purpose and delivers the intended business outcomes
  • Guide the team on SAP best practices, standard capabilities and appropriate design choices within the workstream
  • Provide solution leadership on key design decisions
  • Ensure the Development, Reporting and Integration Consultant teams have the correct list of items to develop
  • Ensure completion of all required workstream deliverables and supporting documentation to the agreed quality standard and timeline

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Must be eligible and willing to obtain UK Government Security Clearance (i.e. lived and worked in the UK for a minimum for 5 years)
  • Strong SAC planning delivery leadership experience across complex programmes
  • Experience with financial budgeting, forecasting, strategic workforce planning and performance management processes
  • Experience in design, build and testing phases on complex programmes
  • Stakeholder Management - Have good business engagement experience working with stakeholders
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead discussions, explain technical details and collaborate effectively with stakeholders and clients
  • Proven structured delivery management experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
