Responsibilities

  • Preparing data migration strategy
  • Planning of overall data migration activities across workstreams
  • Defining and establishing data governance model across workstreams and data objects
  • Leading, managing and guiding a team engaged in extraction, transformation, data load activities ensuring data quality
  • Guiding the team to formulate the data quality checks and validation rules to maintain the integrity of data
  • Coordinate with technical team in designing conversion programs where needed
  • Providing input to cut over activities
  • Planning and execution for mock runs, preparation of reconciliation report and getting business sign off
  • Fixing defects coming out of various data load cycles
  • Reporting risks, issues and progress to stakeholders

  • Expertise in end-to-end data migration including transformation, load and reconciliation
  • Expertise with data migration tools like LTMC, LSMW, Databricks etc.
