The SAP Data & Analytics Architect – Senior Manager leads enterprise-wide data transformation initiatives leveraging SAP’s modern analytics and data platform capabilities, including SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC), SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), and SAP HANA Cloud.
This role combines strategic advisory, solution architecture, delivery leadership, and stakeholder engagement to design and implement scalable, high-quality data and analytics solutions that support business transformation objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Strategy & Leadership
- Define and drive SAP Data & Analytics strategies aligned with business and digital transformation goals.
- Lead large-scale transformation programs involving SAP BDC, Datasphere, SAC, AI, and enterprise cloud data platforms.
- Act as a trusted advisor to executive and senior business stakeholders.
- Establish best practices, governance frameworks, architectural standards, and delivery methodologies.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to architecture, analytics, and delivery teams.
- Solution Architecture & Design
- Architect end-to-end data and analytics platforms utilizing:
- SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) for unified data ecosystems and business context integration.
- SAP Datasphere for data modeling, federation, virtualization, and semantic layer development.
- SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for reporting, dashboards, planning, and predictive analytics.
- SAP BDC Connect and Data Products frameworks.
- Intelligent Applications and Data Packages.
- Medallion Architecture patterns leveraging SAP HANA Cloud.
- AI-enabled analytics and data-driven decision support.
- Designing analytical, semantic, and business-layer data models aligned with organizational KPIs and reporting requirements.
- Defining data integration strategies across SAP and non‑SAP environments, including real‑time, batch, and hybrid architectures.
- Designing and governing operational reporting solutions, including:
- SAP S/4HANA Embedded Analytics
- Virtual Data Models (VDM)
- CDS Views and Custom CDS Extensions
- SuccessFactors reporting, domains, and custom field enablement
- Ensuring scalability, performance optimization, security, and compliance with data governance standards.
- Integration & Ecosystem Architecture
- Integrate SAP and non‑SAP applications, including:
- SAP S/4HANA
- SuccessFactors
- Integrated Business Planning (IBP)
- BW/4HANA
- ECC
- Third‑party enterprise applications and cloud platforms
- Design integrations with cloud data platforms such as Azure, AWS, Databricks, and other modern data ecosystems.
- Leverage APIs, OData services, event‑driven architectures, and data pipelines.
- Advise on migration and modernization strategies across SAP transformation journeys, including S/4HANA adoption and analytics modernization.
- Enable real‑time analytics and business insights through modern integration patterns.
- Delivery & Program Management
- Lead end-to-end SAP Analytics and Planning implementations, including:
- Requirements gathering
- Stakeholder workshops
- Solution design
- Build and configuration

- Deployment and hypercare support
- Oversee Agile, Hybrid, and Waterfall delivery approaches as appropriate.
- Manage program risks, dependencies, budgets, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.

- Support business development activities, including:
