We are seeking an experienced HCM Migration Developer with strong SQL skills and a solid functional understanding of HCM processes. You will take ownership of the ongoing HCM migration from a legacy system to Oracle HCM, supporting both technical development and functional validation. The role involves working closely with the migration lead and functional team to extract, transform, and load data, as well as produce and refine reports for reconciliation and validation.
Key Responsibilities
- Take end-to-end ownership of the HCM data migration process from legacy systems to Oracle HCM.
- Extract employee data from the legacy HCM database, transform it in SQL, and load it into the target system.
- Review and refine existing migration work, particularly in complex objects such as Assignments.
- Start work on yet-to-be-migrated areas such as Absence and Talent modules.
- Develop, tweak, and maintain reports in Oracle OTBI for validation, reconciliation, and auditing.
- Work with functional teams to strengthen solution design and resolve data mapping/value mapping issues.
- Enhance and improve existing validation and reconciliation tools.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across CET time zone, possibly involving limited travel (1 trip).
Technical Requirements
- Strong SQL development experience, especially with data extraction, transformation, and migration.
- Proven track record in HCM data migration projects, preferably Oracle HCM.
- Experience building and refining Oracle OTBI reports.
- Familiarity with value mapping, reconciliation processes, and functional HCM concepts.
- Comfortable working directly with legacy database systems for data extraction.
Functional Requirements
- Solid understanding of HCM business processes, particularly Assignments, Absence, and Talent modules.
- Ability to work with functional teams to clarify requirements and ensure migration accuracy.
- Experience validating migrated data against business rules and operational requirements.
