A large organisation is delivering a major ERP transformation, migrating Finance from a legacy SAP platform to Oracle Fusion Cloud. This role focuses on finance functional design, data migration assurance, testing, and go-live readiness, ensuring the Oracle solution delivers streamlined, controlled, and audit-ready financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Finance Functional Design
- Translate legacy SAP finance processes into Oracle best-practice solutions.
- Design Chart of Accounts, ledgers, calendars, and posting structures.
- Simplify legacy customisations and drive process standardisation.
- Data Migration & Integrity
- Support data cleansing, mapping, and validation activities.
- Perform reconciliation of migrated data and opening balances.
- Ensure audit-ready and accurate financial data migration.
- Testing & UAT
- Define and execute end-to-end finance test scenarios (R2R, P2P, OTC).
- Support SIT and lead finance UAT activities.
- Manage defect triage and prioritisation based on financial impact.
- Risk, Controls & Compliance
- Identify and manage finance risks related to data, controls, and processes.
- Ensure robust financial controls, audit trails, and approval workflows.
- Support statutory reporting and compliance requirements.
- Cutover & Go-Live Support
- Support finance cutover planning and execution.
- Validate finance readiness and provide go-live assurance.
- Provide post-go-live support during hypercare and stabilisation.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in SAP to Oracle Fusion Financials implementations.
- Strong background in SAP FI/CO and Oracle Fusion Financials.
- Hands-on experience with finance data migration and reconciliation.
- Experience supporting or leading UAT and testing cycles.
- Strong understanding of financial controls, audit, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience working in public sector or regulated environments.
