Next Ventures is seeking highly skilled Senior Oracle ERP Cloud SCM Architect to bolster their testing efforts. This is a critical role where your deep SCM expertise and testing acumen will be instrumental in the successful go-live of their global ERP system.
Start Date: Immediate
Location: Fully Remote
Duration: 6 months + extensions
Key Responsibilities:
- In-depth Test Script Analysis: Thoroughly understand the content and objectives of Oracle ERP Cloud SCM test scripts.
- Solution and Issue Validation: Critically challenge the solutions and issues reported by the prime contractor (a Big 4 firm), providing insightful feedback and alternative perspectives.
- Solution Architecting: Propose effective and well-reasoned solutions and alternatives to identified issues and design gaps within the Oracle ERP Cloud SCM landscape.
- Testing Management Support: Leverage your experience in testing methodologies and best practices to contribute to efficient and comprehensive testing cycles.
- JIRA Proficiency: Utilize JIRA for effective tracking, management, and reporting of test progress and identified defects.
- Reporting and Issues Management: Contribute to the creation of clear and concise reports on testing outcomes and actively participate in issue resolution processes.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Extensive and demonstrable experience as an Oracle ERP Cloud SCM Architect. Deep functional knowledge across the Oracle SCM modules is paramount.
- Strong expertise in the following Oracle ERP Cloud SCM processes: Inbound Logistics (Procure to Pay), Outbound Logistics (Order to Cash), Inventory Management, Project Costing/Billing.
- Solid understanding of testing methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
- Proven ability to interpret and analyze test scripts effectively.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the capacity to challenge existing solutions and propose innovative alternatives.
- Hands-on experience with JIRA for test and issue management.
- Strong reporting and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, global environment.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience working with large-scale, global Oracle ERP Cloud implementations.
- Prior experience collaborating with Big 4 consulting firms.
