About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Reporting Manager to lead reporting initiatives within large-scale Oracle transformation programmes. You will design and deliver reporting strategies, lead reporting workstreams, and collaborate closely with Finance and IT stakeholders to ensure accurate, insightful, and reliable reporting capabilities across the organisation. This role is ideal for someone who combines technical expertise with strong stakeholder engagement skills and enjoys delivering impactful, data-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reporting Leadership
    • Lead and manage reporting projects across Oracle finance or supply chain transformation programmes.
    • Oversee planning, development, testing, and deployment of reporting solutions.
    • Design and implement reporting strategies aligned to business needs and long-term system architecture.
  • Technical Expertise
    • Provide functional and technical expertise across Oracle reporting tools.
    • Analyse enterprise reporting requirements and translate them into scalable reporting solutions.
    • Work with ERP data structures to support reporting, analytics, dashboards, and regulatory or operational reporting.
    • Participate in solution design, configuration, validation, and continuous improvement.
  • Stakeholder & Team Management
    • Collaborate with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to understand reporting needs.
    • Lead and mentor reporting specialists, ensuring high-quality delivery.
    • Communicate effectively with cross-functional and senior-level stakeholders.
    • Build strong, trusted working relationships across the organisation.
  • Delivery & Governance
    • Ensure reporting work aligns with project governance, timelines, and methodologies.
    • Manage risks, issues, and scope within reporting workstreams.
    • Promote best practices across design, documentation, testing, and release management.

Skills & Experience Required

Essential

  • Extensive hands-on experience in Oracle ERP transformation or implementation programmes.
  • Proven experience delivering complex reporting solutions and reporting workstreams.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle ERP modules (Financials or Supply Chain) and associated database structures.
  • Experience with Oracle reporting tools (e.g., OTBI, BI Publisher, SmartView, FRS, Analytics).
  • Experience leading teams and supporting their development.
  • Strong analytical, data interpretation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Experience with at least one project delivery methodology (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
  • Understanding of key phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Eligibility to obtain UK Government Security Clearance.

Desirable

  • Experience producing visual dashboards and reports for business stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of PRINCE2, Agile, or Waterfall frameworks for planning and governance.
  • Oracle certifications in Finance, Supply Chain, or Reporting technologies.
  • Exposure to large-scale digital transformation environments.

Working Environment

This role is based in London or Manchester, operating under a hybrid working model with a blend of office collaboration, remote work, and on-site project delivery depending on programme requirements.
