This position is a contract role initially up to the end of September with the possibility of extension. I am partnered with a nonprofit organization that is investing heavily into its HR technology landscape and is looking for an experienced Senior Functional Consultant to lead the design, configuration, and optimization of Workday Performance and Talent solutions. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join a business and help deliver scalable, best practice Workday solutions that enhance the employee experience and support strategic talent initiatives. You will be an advisor to stakeholders, but also a technical expert that can help in managing the overall module build and implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with HR, Talent, and Technology stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate requirements into effective solutions
  • Configure and enhance Workday Performance and Talent module
  • Design and optimize their Workday business processes, workflows, security and approvals
  • Develop testing strategies, coordinate UAT and troubleshoot configuration issues
  • Be the functional SME and liaison between HR, Technology and Workday partners

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Workday configuration experience specifically in Performance reviews, talent reviews and talent management
  • Experience in the Workday Performance and Talent Module
  • Translate business requirements into Workday solutions
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage a build and implementation of a module
