On behalf of our client in the manufacturing space, we are looking for a S/4HANA Transformation Lead with strong solution architecture expeirence, to join a Blulefield project, starting at the beginning of September.
Role Summary
The individual will act as the primary architecture authority across business, application, integration, data, security and technology workstreams while leading delivery teams through design, build, testing, deployment, cutover and hypercare.
The role requires balancing business transformation objectives with delivery pragmatism, ensuring the programme achieves business value whilst maintaining a clean-core S/4HANA architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall architectural leadership for a multi-country, multi-wave S/4HANA transformation programme.
- Lead global template governance and ensure consistency across all deployment waves.
- Drive programme planning, mobilisation, risk management and decision-making forums.
- Collaborate with Executive Sponsors, Programme Directors and Business Process Owners to align business outcomes with solution design.
- Manage architecture review boards and design authorities.
- Support Steering Committees with architecture, delivery, risk and strategic recommendations.
- Define and own the end-to-end SAP solution architecture across Finance, Procurement, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales & Distribution, Warehouse Management, SAP BTP, Analytics and Reporting.
- Establish and govern a clean-core architecture strategy.
- Define solution standards, design principles, integration patterns and technology roadmaps.
- Lead Fit-to-Standard and Delta Design workshops.
- Ensure alignment with SAP best practice and SAP Activate methodologies.
Essential Experience
- 15+ years SAP delivery experience.
- 5+ years operating as Lead SAP Solution Architect or Enterprise Architect.
- Proven leadership of multiple global SAP S/4HANA transformation programmes.
- Demonstrable experience delivering Bluefield or Selective Data Transition programmes.
- Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, SAP Integration Suite, SAP Fiori, SAP Analytics and SAP Master Data Governance.
- Experience leading global template and multi-country rollout programmes.
- Strong understanding of business processes across Finance, Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, Supply Chain, Sales and Customer Service.
- Experience operating within complex system landscapes and multi-vendor delivery environments.
